"Omichka" started in the Super League with a victory over "Yenisey"

In the first round of the Women's Volleyball Super League, Omichka defeated Yenisei from Krasnoyarsk with a score of 3:1. The teams previously met in the Russian Cup and the Siberia and Far East Cup, where Omichka also emerged victorious.

The home team took a 16-13 lead in the opening set, but Omichka regained the initiative and won the game 25-19. Yenisey won the second set 20-25. However, the Omsk club confidently controlled the game in the third and fourth sets, finishing with identical scores of 25-16 and 25-17.

Omichka will play its next match at home on October 11 against last season’s bronze medalist, Leningradka from St. Petersburg.
